Do-It-Yourself - All Other Cleaners
Man, I have really enjoyed doing this series. I have one last day of it and this is really just a bunch of different cleaners that can be used in multiple rooms that I didn't want to stick to just one room!
*Metal Rust*
- 2 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Apply and rub well!
*All Purpose Cleaner - 1*
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 1/4 cup baking soda
- 2 tsp borax (optional)
- 1/2 gallon water
Mix together and store. This is said to be used on everything.
*All Purpose Cleaner - 2*
- 2 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tsp borax
- hot water
- few drops dish soap
- 10 drops essential oil
Mix together in a spray bottle.
*Glass Cleaner - 1*
- 1 cup rubbing alcohol
- 1 cup water
- 1 tbsp vinegar
Mix together in a spray bottle.
*Glass Cleaner - 2*
Lemon juice with less linty cloth.
*Glass Cleaner - 3*
Club soda with newspaper.
*Removing Stickers*
Moisten with vinegar, let stand for 10 mins and remove.

Do-It-Yourself - Floor Cleaners

Here's Day 4 of my Do-It-Yourself Cleaners series!!
*Wood Floor Cleaner*
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 gallon water
Mix together and mop with it like you would a normal cleaner.
*Fresh Carpet Mix*
- 2 cups baking soda
- 1-2 drops essential oil
Mix it together and don't worry about the baking soda being to moist. Sprinke the mixture on rugs and carpets, let sit for 5 mins and vacuum up.
*Set In Stains on Carpet*
- 1 tsp vinegar
- 1 tsp liquid dish soap
- 1 cup water
Mix together and apply to stain, let sit for a couple mins and blot the stain.
*New Spills on Carpet*
Mix equal parts vinegar and water. Spray on spill and let sit for a couple mins and blot the spil.

Do-It-Yourself - Laundry Cleaners

*Bleach Alternative*
- 1/2 cup borax
- 2 gallons hot water
or
- hydrogen peroxide (3%)
Soak the borax in the hot water for 5 mins. Use just like regular bleach.
*Laundry Softener*
- 2 cups white vinegar
- 2 cups baking soda
- 4 cups water
Combine over the sink (it will fizz), pour in a plastic bottle (an empty downy bottle will be perfect!) and shake. Use in your downy ball or in the final rinse cycle!

Do-It-Yourself - Bathroom Cleaners
Here's day 2 of my DIY series! I love this stuff!!
*Tub and Tile Cleaner*
I have not tested everything and do not know what works best for you. I am not responsible for any damage caused by any product you use in your household. I am not saying any of this will even damage anything, I am just watching my back. Feel free to leave a comment about your experience with any of these!
- 1 1/3 cup water
- 1/4 cup liquid soap
- 1/4 cup baking soda
- 2 tbsp vinegar
Add liquid soap to water and let dissolve, stir in baking soda, then add vinegar. Make sure you rinse well after using to avoid residue.
*Clogged Drains*
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 1 cup baking soda
Pour in the clogged drain and let sit for a few minutes, flush that wiht a teapot full of boiling water.
*Soap Scum Removal*
Use a damp sponge or wash cloth and scrub with baking soda.
Vinegar can be directly applied to the surface. Let that sit and scrub.
*Toilet*
Sprinkle baking soda and lemon juice into the toilet and let sit. Scrub with a toilet brush.
Spray vinegar around the bowl, sprinkle with baking soda and scrub with toilet brush.
