How to Change Your Zip Code on Coupons.com

It used to be very easy to change the zip code on coupons.com and now you have to go through some hoops to make that happen.  Let me help you!



You will need to set up an account but you can sign up with your Facebook!  You can sign up with your email or with Facebook.  I like signing up with Facebook so I can stay logged in and it a one click log in.














Now you will need to go to your profile and change your zip code.

You don't have to put in a full address, all you need to have is the zip code and the state.  Save it and you are ready to see the different coupons!

Great Deal on Plastic Rolling File Cart and How I organize MY Coupons!

A realtor was showing my house today so I thought I would run over to Walmart (less than a mile from me) and do some coupon shopping while I waited.  I am so glad I did!  My Walmart has a FABULOUS clearance section that I always check out and today I found this goody!  It's a two-drawer plastic rolling file cart.  It's perfect for my coupons!  I have been using individual tubs but this is so much better!  I love it more already!  What's even better is it was on CLEARANCE for $5.00!  Even the cashier was surprised because originally it is $24.00!

How I Organize My Coupons

I leave my coupons in the insert, I have found that with the amount of coupon inserts I get it is so much easier to just file them and cut them when I need them.  I separate my different inserts and date them, 3/3 SS, 3/3 RP, 3/3 PG.  When I need a coupon, it is very easy to go right to the folder and cut what I need.

I'm Here!!

I have not left you!!  I promise!!  Shawn and I decided to move our wedding date to June, yes THIS YEAR!!!!  I have been swamped in planning a wedding (on a budget of course!) and our housewarming party this weekend!  I will start posting again but it might not be as much as it used to be BUT don't go anywhere, it will get better!!

Coupon Database

Did you know you can access the coupon database on your mobile device?  The next time you are at the store you will be able to see if there is a coupon available for the item you found on clearance or sale!  If you are at Walmart or Target, you can go ahead and purchase the item(s) at the price it is and come back with your receipt and coupons and have customer service adjust it and give you money back!

Let me show you...

 

This is the home screen from a mobile device (iPhone to be exact, I do not have views from a Blackberry or any other device, this is the only phone in our immediate family so this is what I'm showing).  I have set my website up to be mobile friendly so you can view it on the go! 

You see where is says "Home" with the arrow next to it?

Click it (from your mobile device)... It's ok, I promise.  It won't blow up.  :)

After you hit the down arrow, tap on Coupon Database and it will put a check mark by it showing you that it is highlighted.

Click "Done".

Now you can type in the section that you would typically type in to search for your coupon.  Click "Search" and it will pull up all of the coupons for that item just like on the site!  You will have to scroll over and down to see everything but your information is right there!  No more taking pictures and rushing home to see if you have a coupon for the item! 

Penny Princess has gone MOBILE!!

New Features

Did you happen to notice the link under my header that says Coupon Database and the other link that says Forum?  Well guess what I added to try help make things easier for you!  That's right!  A Coupon Database and a Forum!!  I encourage you to go look at both and use both!  I do not have any matchups done yet so if you have any to post, feel free to post them!  If there are any topics you would like added tell me!!  Introduce yourself in the Welcome section after you register!

If there is anything you think would make this site better for you and make it more personal for you, please let me know!  As I have said before, I am here for you!

To New Beginnings

Before I go any further with posting match ups, coupons and deals I want to get the personal parts out of the way without going too personal.

It was a very hard decision to close Penny Princess almost two years ago but it was something I needed to do.  I had more important things to think about like my kids.  We all know I went through a divorce and that was the main reason for closing Penny Princess and going back to work full time and trying to figure out how to be a single mother of two.  There were a lot of ups, downs and curves over the past couple of years but for the most part I would not change a single thing.  Sometimes you don't realize that you can make it through something until you are out of it and you realize that you are so much stronger and happier than ever before!  That's where I am now; I don't think I could be happier with my life.  My little family of three grew to SIX!  I will be getting married a little over a year from now and I have added two kids to that equation!  Oh yes, and we have two hamsters! 

I know everyone wanted an update so there it is!  I cannot wait to see what is to come with Penny Princess!

One Last Good Bye...

After much time to deliberate and get opinions from friends and family, I have decided to not do The Penny Princess anymore.  I am going to start a new family blog to track my new journey in life being a single mom.  I have also been asked to become a Real Housewife of Oklahoma.  It is a great honor to be able to do something like that.  We will be launching our new site this coming week and I am very excited about it!  This is the link for my new blog, Our New Journey.  I want to thank all of my loyal followers and readers that I have had over the months of having Penny Princess.  I hope to see you on Our New Journey!!

Where oh Where?

Hello, Penny Princess followers!  I know a lot of you are wondering where oh where has the Penny Princess been??  Well, I'm here.  Now.  I'm back I guess is what I should say.  I do apologize for the long absence.  I have had some things going on in my personal life that caused a long break.  I didn't want to take one otherwise I would have filled you in on being away.  I do want to thank you for  waiting on my return and promise I will be getting right back to my normal self very soon!  

I have missed all of you very much and I have missed posting every day!

Hello my Penny Princess followers!  This has been a very eventful holiday season indeed!  I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!!  I am back and in full swing.  I have some great things to come for the year 2010 and can not wait to get them started!  As for today, we will get right into the freebies and deals to be had out in coupon world!!
