Pin It I am so glad you are here! I want to start with a beginners guide to couponing so you can start saving as much as I do!

Where to find coupons
:: There are many places to get coupons. The main place I get mine is from the Sunday paper. I have a subscription and then I buy more copies at the gas station. There are three different inserts that come in the paper, Smart Source (SS), Red Plum (RP), and Proctor and Gamble (P&G). Sometimes there isn't any inserts and sometimes all three are there.

:: You can get Internet Printables (IP), or coupons online. You can search our Coupon Database to see if there is a specific coupon you are looking for.  Also, under the heading on this site you will find Coupons.com, Redplum Coupons, Coupon Network and Smart Source.  These are all websites with printable coupons.

:: Magazines are also a great place to get coupons! I get the All-You magazine every month and if it has good coupons for me, I buy another copy. All-You is only sold at Walmart and it runs about $2.50 an issue. They also have other great information in the magazine that makes it worth your money.

Now, start small.  Don't try and conquer every store out there to get everything for free.  Pick one store to start with and learn the ins and outs of it, get to know their coupon policy and price match policy if they have one.  When you feel like you are getting the hang of it, try a drug store.  Don't be scared of drug stores, they are wonderful for free items.

Keep an eye on my website so you can see the weekly match ups of sales and coupons and I also post through out the week of new deals I find.  Make sure to sign up to receive my daily emails in case you do not have a chance to get on that day.

Have fun with this, if it is a chore then you shouldn't be doing it! And remember, I am here to help in any way I can so make sure to ask any question you have.
