Carolina Pad Review

Back to school is right around the corner so what better time would there be to do a review about Carolina Pad?? Oh you know who they are even if it isn't ringing a bell! Carolina Pad is responsible for making the cutest and hippest and of course functional office supplies, back to school supplies and even the I just need a new notebook or planner! Those of you who know me, know how much I capitol L-O-V-E anything to do with organization and office supplies so to get the best of both worlds in one is AWESOME! The first set of items I will tell you about is pictured here:

The three items here are from different "collections" that Carolina Pad offers. We have file folders from Whimsical Flower. Who doesn't need file folders?? I mean really do I have to say much about them? I am very big on "filing" paperwork and dr bills and insurance information in folders in a special place in my bedroom. Don't worry, the paperwork is organized!

Isn't that gorgeous? Ok, now on to Sasquatch collection which I have the folder and AS will be taking that to school with him for what he needs it for!! He does use it here at home, too. He likes to put his colorings in a folder so we have various folders that hold his wonderful art work! There's a lot but again he is very good at organizing them!! You want to know the best part of the Sasquatch collection? It's Eco-Friendly!! All of the products in this collection are!

Next we have Hot Chocolate, which is my favorite collection! It's funny that this is my favorite collection because this is my favorite item that was sent to me! It is an organizational folder. The inside has 4 pages with a total of 8 folder pockets! I received this wonder gift package right before we went on our vacation and I was able to use this the most. I put all of our hotel info, directions printed out on paper and also any information about the theme parks we had. I also had a special place to put any new papers we got while gone. I put a purple piece of paper in there so you could see the pockets.

So that's the first part of the items I received. Here is a picture of the notebooks I received...

I got 5 notebooks from 4 different collections! The big one with the talking bubble on it is from the Chit-Chat collection. This collection has text talk all over it and can come in a black background or white background! I thought this collection was so fun I bought the planner from it from Walmart, for only $4.00!!!

The next bigger one and the small pastel one is from the Pattern Play collection. This is a what I like to call "calm" collection. The other collections are brightly colored and this is a calm pastel collection!

The middle size notebook is from the Whimsical Flower collection. I do really love this collection, too because the flowers and the colors!!

I saved this "Kollection" to the end because this is the real focus of this review. The next "Kollection" is the Kendall Kollection. There is a story behind this kollection and it's a sweet one. Here is what my friend April from Carolina Pad sent me about this kollection...

The notebooks and office supplies in the attached picture are not only eye-catching and beautiful, but they are also a small way for a Charlotte designer and Charlotte headquartered company to give back to a little girl who was stricken with leukemia. We thought you would like to known Kendall’s story.

When Jacqueline Savage McFee, signature designer for Carolina Pad – the industry leader in trendy school and office fashion products, got the devastating news that her two-year-old cousin, Kendall Sierens, was diagnosed with leukemia, it brought things into perspective for her. It also created a spark. The Kendall Kollection – a collection of colorful high-end school supplies inspired by the artist’s young cousin – was born in 2008 and has been raising funds and awareness for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The partnership between Jackie McFee, Carolina Pad and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society continues for 2009 with fresh new designs. This wildly successful collection is available at major national retailers including Wal-Mart, K-Mart and Office Max, as well as grocery and drug store chains.

Kendall is now almost six-years old and in remission, but the battle continues for thousands of other children just like her. We look forward to another year of helping The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in its effort to find cures and better therapies for patients with leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma.

Mothers and their daughters adore the look of the collection, but really love knowing that purchasing these products helps those in need.

So, I hope you have enjoyed hearing about this wonderful company, Carolina Pad. Also, stay tuned for Monday because I have a wonderful surprise for you involving the Kendall Kollection!! I also told you which collection was my favorite but I love all of them that I guess I don't have a favorite!! (remember this for Monday)
